Meet the adviser

Hello! I'm Sarah Gashi, insurance adviser & broker since 2017, and founder of Clever Duck Insurance Advice in 2020.

I live in Nottingham with my partner and my 'zoo' (2 cats and a dog) 🐈‍⬛🐈‍⬛🐕‍🦺

I’m a stickler for detail, and I find it satisfying to scour the market for policies and to build perfect insurance portfolios. I am also a friendly chatty human, and I love to hear about my clients’ business ventures, children, new houses, pesky divorces, career changes, and dogs.

My first 3 years in insurance were as an employee of a large financial services company. Then in August 2020 I took the plunge & left to start my own business. The beginnings were extremely humble - picture me, cooped up at home during a covid lockdown, cold-calling to sell life insurance from my living room (🙈)

6 years later, business is thriving. Clever Duck is now a team of 4, and together we are looking after a portfolio of more than 350 clients.

The service we provide is completely free for our clients. We take 100% of our fees from the insurance companies, and none from the customers. I believe insurance advice should be accessible to everyone. We are here to cut through the jargon for you, to give clear & specific advice delivered in plain English, and to obtain the best possible policies, rates, terms and discounts on your behalf.
